NodeJS plans run your own app, such as a Discord bot or small web service.
Upload your code
Drag your files onto the Files page, or upload a zip and choose Unarchive from its menu. You do not need to upload node_modules. For a repository, the GitHub page under More can pull your code onto the server. For a large project, use the SFTP details in Settings > General.
Set how it starts
Open Settings > Startup and set Startup Script. By default it is node main.js, so change it if your main file has another name.
When the server starts, it runs npm install if there is no node_modules folder. To reinstall your packages, delete that folder and restart.
Start the server on the Console page. Your app's output and any errors appear there.
Ports and databases
If your app listens for connections, it must use 0.0.0.0 and a port shown on the Network page. You can read the main port in your code from process.env.SERVER_PORT.
If you need MySQL, create a database on the Databases page and copy its details into your code.
Backups
Use the Backups page to save a copy before big changes, if your plan includes backups.
