Questions people ask first
How quickly will my server be ready?
Usually within a couple of minutes. Your server is built automatically as soon as payment goes through, and the address and login details appear in your dashboard straight away.
Can I upgrade or change my plan later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade from your server's billing card in the panel whenever you like. Nothing needs re-ordering and your files stay exactly where they are.
Can I install mods, plugins and modpacks?
Yes. Install from Modrinth, CurseForge and SpigotMC in one click, install a CurseForge or Modrinth modpack, or upload your own files through the file manager or SFTP.
Where are your servers?
All of our servers are in the United Kingdom. That keeps ping low for players across the UK and Ireland, and most of Western Europe plays comfortably too.
Will you move my server from another host?
Yes, for free. Open a ticket and we will help move your server across, or you can upload it yourself over SFTP whenever you like.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
Pay by card, set up a subscription so it renews on its own, or use your AtomicHost balance and gift cards. There are no contracts: cancel your subscription whenever you like and it simply will not renew.
Can my friends help run the server?
Yes. Invite them as sub-users and choose exactly what they can touch, from the console only to full access. You can even split the bill with a shared balance.
What if I get stuck?
Open a ticket and Atom, our assistant, answers it first. Anything it cannot solve goes to our team. You can also ask in our Discord or search the docs.
